Description
Inductive probes are a popular way of adding bed level compensation ability to 3D printers. Marlin and other 3d printer firmwares support this. Also useful on other types of machines – we originally created the housing this comes with for use on a plasma cutting table.
Common inductive probes require 3-36V input, while the controllers typically operate at 5V. A voltage divider is required to adapt the 12V or 24V delivered by the sensor to the controller input.
This part allows you to connect either one or two of such sensors and handles converting the voltage to just under 5V. Convenient screw terminals help you get it wired up quickly without soldering, and rugged housing with mounting holes take the hassle out of securing to your printer/enclosure while preventing shorts.
This listing is for the 12V model and includes 1 (ONE) 8MM inductive probe. See our other items for the 24V version.
