These are commonly used for 3D printer bed level compensation (Auto Level), as well as many other uses.

Operates at 6-36V DC.  If connecting this to an Arduino or other common 5V 3D printer control board, you’ll need to reduce the output voltage of the sensor do  <5VDC.  We offer pre-built voltage divider boards in our other listings to make this easy.
