Description
This is a mount that allows you to clamp a variety of things that have a1/4-20 female thread to something like a tripod for secure mounting while allowing for quick detachment.
The angle and orientation is adjustable, and can be performed by hand.
We use these to attach Zoom H2N audio recorders to tripods, especially when using 360 rigs with full housings, preventing them from recording audio, as well as any time we want better audio than what a set of GoPros will record.
Mounts very securely, does not “junk up” the shot much more than the tripod itself does when oriented as shown in the pics, but can be attached underneath or to the legs as well. When oriented as pictured, allows the tripod to still collapse to a very small size for carrying on a backpack.
